Barack

Hungarian for "apricot" (German: Aprikose, Austrian: Marille).
Best liked in the shape of barackpálinka, apricot brandy, which is often offered as an aperitif if one is lucky enough to dine with Hungarians.
Also makes a nice jam, which is often found inside krapfen or sachertorte.
