...has just landed in vienna.
many people would certainly like to do many things to greet him, but he's guarded by literally tens of thousands of policemen, so that NO member of the populace can get anything like near him.
tomorrow would be the ideal day for robbing banks and stealing cars in this town. all our policemen, plus thousands who were fetched from other parts of austria, will be guarding bushy.
the air is infested with helicopters (where will i sleep this night?). bomb alarm was given several times during the day, and the bombs duly destroyed by hi-tech armed experts. they were all dummies - the bombs, i mean. just old boxes and suitcases stuffed with rubbish, and got up to look like bombs camouflaged as boxes.
one was labeled "Our Gift for the Guest" ;-)

so did you rob a bank?
unfortunately not... still as broke as before.
but i sat on a balcony with a few other people, watching the helicopters and saying all the arabic words we could think of, to see if they would take us for terrorists.
